The FEES Annual Students’ Awards Ceremony was held on May 31, 2019 at the Education Lecture Theatre, in recognition of the outstanding performances and service by our students during the 2017/2018 academic year.

This year’s guest speaker was Ms. Onika Stellingburg, a former student of the then School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. She is Guyana’s first trained climate change negotiator and the first Guyanese selected to participate as the Caribbean Representative in the prestigious Climate Change Fellowship. Ms Stellingburg, who holds the position of Stakeholder Management Coordinator within the Ministry of the Presidency – Department of the Environment, delivered uplifting remarks to the awardees and encouraged them to apply their skills towards the task of nation-building.

See below for a complete list of awardees, along with a few photos from the ceremony. The Faculty extends sincere gratitude to this year’s sponsors.
